PEISAA Brodie McCarthy Student-Athlete Award – Deadline Fast Approaching

Applications for the PEISAA Brodie McCarthy Student-Athlete Award are now open. This award is a scholarship given out annually in memory of a Montague High School student. Each school on the island can nominate one student for the award, which will be presented to a panel that includes Brodie‘s parents.

To apply to be considered for nomination by the school staff members

Students must be a grade 12 athlete involved in school sport during the 2024/2025 school year. While not an academic award, students must have an average of 70 or above for the current school year. Students must have participated in at least two PEISAA sanctioned sports- individual or team- during their Grade 12 year. Sportsmanship is also considered. Student must be involved in other activities within their school and community through clubs or volunteering.
