Join Our Team! Apply Now For Two OFSAA Volunteer Roles
The OFSAA Board of Directors is currently accepting nominations for two separate volunteer positions – Vice President and Director-at-Large. An extensive description of each role can be found at the very bottom of this page. Join the OFSAA team!
• OFSAA Vice President
This volunteer position is a two-year term beginning in September 2025, and will be followed by a two-year term as President, and a two-year term as Past President (6 year commitment). According to OFSAA By-law, “The incoming vice president shall be of the opposite gender to the former vice president who shall become president.” Nominees this year must therefore identify as male.
An association representative, after consultation with their association’s Principals’ Council representative, may choose to nominate an individual for this position. The individual must be a current Principal or Vice Principal.
Please forward nominations to Shamus Bourdon at shamus@ofsaa.on.ca. The deadline for nominations is Friday, March 7 at 4:00 pm. When submitting a nomination, please include the following information:Nominator’s name, school, email, and telephone number.Nominee’s name, school, email, and telephone number.Outline of nominee’s experience in education, school sport, and leadership roles.Confirmation the nominee has been contacted and is willing to go through the selection process.
• OFSAA Director-at-Large This volunteer position is a three-year term beginning in September 2025. According to OFSAA By-law, “The Board shall identify two (2) teacher-coaches, one male and one female, who are members of the College of Teachers, or retired as a member of the College of Teachers.” Nominees this year must therefore identify as male.
Members of the Representatives’ Council may choose to nominate an individual for this position.
